Join a dynamic and fast-paced ophthalmic team where you will document physician visits in the EMR system and scribe for multiple physicians. You will engage hands-on with instruments upon physician request, perform patient work-ups post-doctor visits, and communicate patient plans as documented by the doctors.

You will work Monday through Friday, with hours scheduled between 6:30 AM and 6:00 PM depending on clinic needs. Training is conducted at the administrative building in the Galleria area. You will be part of a team of 8-24 individuals, supporting three clinics with a home base in Bellaire, one of the busiest clinics in Houston. Occasionally, you may need to support Sugarland and Cypress clinics. You will receive your schedule two weeks in advance, and any travel to clinics outside your main three will be reimbursed for mileage. The environment is extremely fast-paced, handling 80-100 patients daily. The dress code requires navy blue scrubs, short and groomed nails, and hair must be tied back.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bellaire, Texas.
Position may travel within the greater Houston area, mileage will be reimbursed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $19.00/hr.
