Position Summary

We are actively recruiting for an open position of Femto Laser Technician at our Affiliate, Midwest Eye Center.

Responsibilities Operate the Femto machineSet up the Femto machineSchedule Maintenance on FemtoInventory for Femto supplies and ordering of suppliesRelieve for Vacation at Kenwood if neededLens inventory and ordering of lens for the ASCCollect and file Pathology reportsPerform YAG lasers, so as not to pull an RN to perform. This allows the clinic and ASC to schedule YAGs at the same time.Help making chartsHelp with room turnoverHelp with discharge coordinationHelp with chart filingRelieve front desk and discharge coordinator for lunchesBe the Laser safety officer for Eastgate ASC Qualifications Graduated from an accredited high school3 to 5 years’ clinical experience preferredMust be flexible with regards to shift as hours may vary and are dictated by clinic needsDependable transportation required to travel to other offices as requiredAbility to pay attention to detail to recognize inconsistencies in test resultsAbility to maintain confidentialityAffable and outgoing personality with professional demeanorThe ability to communicate effectively to employees and patientsAbility to make independent, accurate decisions regarding the best use of his/her timeThe ability to seek instruction  and advise in areas where he/she is not knowledgeable or when accuracy is uncertain, and findings are inconsistentAn attitude that reflects a desire to go beyond the minimum required duties and to learn Company Benefits
