**Job Title: Operator Trainee** **Job Description** Join our production department as an Operator Trainee. You will play a crucial role in the processing of medical products and devices by managing the flow of packages through our sterilization system. Your primary responsibilities will include handling order sheets, retrieving products, and ensuring the correct loading and unloading of packages on a conveyor belt system. Shift: 9pm-9am (Rotating) Pay: $21.50/hour **Responsibilities** + Take order sheets and retrieve specified product types and quantities. + Load and unload packages onto a conveyor belt for sterilization. + Unwrap pallets and place products onto the conveyor belt. + Input order details into the computer and arrange products in totes as displayed. + Palatalize products with yellow shrink wrap after sterilization to indicate completion. + Operate a forklift for up to 5% of the day, depending on daily assignments. **Essential Skills** + High school diploma + Mechanically inclined + Experience in production and machine operation + Ability to work a 12-hour rotating shift + Knowledge of warehouse inventory management + Experience with loading, unloading, and troubleshooting **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to lift up to 50lbs + Previous experience in a physical job + Basic math skills (addition and subtraction) + Good attendance record + Team player attitude + Willingness to learn and demonstrate effort **Why Work Here?** Enjoy an 11% shift premium for night shifts from 10pm to 6am, with a potential for a 6% raise upon receiving your machine operating certificate. Week 1 includes working on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, while Week 2 includes Wednesday and Thursday shifts. Expect to work night shifts from 9pm to 9am. **Job Type & Location** This is a Permanent position based out of Gurnee, IL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
