Job Summary
The Operator II is an experienced hourly position and is responsible for safely operating their assigned process per standard operating procedures (SOPs) and specified pre-mix formulation and quality procedures.

Facility ExpectationFollow the expectations of all Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality standards.Ensure product quality expectations are met.Follow all facility Good Manufacturing Practices as required.Responsible for ensuring area is kept clean and completion of all listed housekeeping duties per the master sanitation schedule.Participate in morning toolbox, shift exchange/review and response meetings to communicate your key process indicator performance.Required to work overtime as specified by production leadership.Attend training classes in-plant or at other locations as assigned.Work Duties and Required SkillsFollow the production schedule in accordance with feed formulation and quality guidelines.Troubleshoot equipment and process problemsWork with other Operations colleagues to effectively communicate production issues.Able to flex and cross train in multiple areas within production operationsRegularly participate in all safety, quality, and process improvement programsProficient use of computer – in addition to process controls and inventory softwareCleaning of processing equipmentEnsure ingredients and reprocessed products are blended correctlyAccurate reporting with necessary paperwork.Perform other duties as assigned by Plant Leadership.Work in the most effective, efficient and safe manner at all times.At times, overtime will be required.Minimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalentPrior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferredAbility to act in a professional manner and adhere by ADM’s Code of ConductMust be able to lift up to 55 lbs.Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfacesAbility to wear protective clothing and equipment such as safety shoes, face masks, safety glasses, hearing protection, a hard hat, and gloves when requiredAbility to work in hot, cold, noisy, dusty working conditionsAbility to work with allergens that might be present in a manufacturing environmentSelf-motivated with a solid work ethicGood attitude and works well in team atmosphere.Handles other duties as required.Maintain excellent attendance.ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
