The Microbiology Division provides solutions and workflow for food, clinical, and pharmaceutical environments. The markets we serve include food manufactures and labs, clinical and healthcare, pharma, and biotech. We manufacture culture media and other microbiological diagnostic products serving customers in the pharmaceutical, food, and clinical laboratories.

How Will You Make an Impact?:

As a Manufacturing Operator you will carry out the production process by closely following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Standard Work Instruction Documents as they relate to assembly, materials handling, equipment operation, and finished goods' packaging.

A Day in the Life:Support multiple roles within assigned department as business needs dictate.Work in a controlled environment with gowning requirements.Follow all written procedures and report discrepancies in procedures (SOP’s, DHR’s, etc.) to Area Supervisor.Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed and refer to job specific job Safety Analysis.Perform all work activities in a safe manner, maintain a safe, clutter free work area and clean up all spills immediately.Listen, follow and relay written and verbal instructions in English.Immediately Report property damage and /or safety hazards to the Supervisor, Human Resources, Safety Specialist or Senior ManagementAccurately document and check personal work for quality and compliance.Continuously supervise product for defects.Operate assigned machine in a safe manner, perform simple maintenance, make necessary adjustments and report malfunctioning equipment immediately to Supervisor or LeadMaintain a clean and organized work area including all assigned equipmentRead, understand, and accurately complete required documentation in accordance with established policies and proceduresSet up machine to perform a variety of sizes and types using tools to adjust as neededActively engage in making process improvement suggestionsEducation:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related fieldPreferred: Experience in a cGMP environmentKnowledge, Skills, Abilities:Effectively communicate in English, both verbal and writtenUnderstand and perform basic mathPhysical Requirements / Work EnvironmentAbility to stand for long periods of time (approximately 10 hours a day)Ability to use push/pull force of up to 80 lbsAbility to lift product up to 50lbsWhat We Offer
