Job Title: Operator-Disc Cell Location: Lancaster, PA Type: Contract To Hire Contractor Work Model: Onsite Hours: Mon-Fri 6:30am-3pm Job Summary: Operator 2 performs production processes and operates various machines including soak, punch, Double Disc Rough, Centerless Grind, Core Drill, CNC Slice, DCM, SPLAP, STC, and MWS. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Required: + Operate without performing the setup of Double Disc, Centerless Grind, Core Drill, and CNC Slice. + Cycling of the MWS and STC operations + Assist Machinists with machine setup and adjustments. + Ensure parts meet quality specifications. + Achieve tolerances of critical dimensions with supervisor assistance. + Follow all safety, quality, and production standards. + Assist in training Operator 1 employees. + Maintain autonomous maintenance schedule. + Perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions. Desired additional operations: + Centerless Grind with setup and program editing or Double Disc Finish with setup and program editing + Core Drill with performing setup and program editing + CNC Slice with performing setup and program editing Qualifications: + High school diploma or equivalent. + 1-2 years of manufacturing experience. + Familiarity with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers). + Ability to read and interpret part prints. + Basic troubleshooting skills.
