Hourly position $22 up to $24
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY AND ASSOCIATED DUTIES
Production Floor
1. Rotates through several positions and/or production lines as directed to ensure production goals are met or exceeded (may be assigned to any production line as needed), follows assigned station break and rotation schedules.
2. Ensures all assigned equipment is in safe operation condition prior to and during production.
3. Operates/adjusts several different pieces of equipment, machinery, and/or tools knowledgeable and effectively.
4. Completes heavy operation which may include lifting equipment, tools, and/or bags of ingredients weighing up to 50 pounds as well as the strenuous mixing of ingredients.
5. Keeps product specification and formulas on hand for reference and ensures compliance for each scheduled product.
6. Prepares and coordinates the return of unused ingredients to warehouse.
7. Assists assembly/packaging line workers, as assigned or needed.
8. Report any defects to the key operator.
9. Performs packaging, Assembly and/or Kitchen duties that may require lifting, up to 50 pounds following established policies and procedures that vary depending on product, station or task assigned.
10. Review your daily line scheduled, prepare production utilities needed for the task assigned; make sure all tools are in safe operational condition prior to and during the shift and notify leadership as necessary to ensure product meets food safety requirements. Keep area free of any possible contamination and removes unacceptable product from line.
11. Pack product in bags according to count specification to ensure compliance with product standards.
12. Seal bags following requirements.
13. Inspect and align bags on conveyor belt to ensure they meet QA standards. Place bags carefully into Micro bins to accumulate them if needed.
14. Place accumulated bags into conveyor from the micro bins (avoid to damage product).
15. Rework chipboard boxes as necessary to complying with QA requirements.
16. Pack, chipboard into master case. Palletize finished product (manual/automated).
17. Feed Handtmann (filler equipment) with filling, palletize filling luggers, collect Recycle.
18. Completes production runs in a timely manner meeting or exceeding pre-established deadlines to reduce downtime and meet production goals.
19. All additional required by the supervisor and/or manager.
Equipment
1. Report any equipment issues to appropriate personnel.
2. Participate in the investigation and data collection for related issues.
3. Use and take care of the equipment properly.
