Now Hiring an Injection Molding Machine Operator - Bedford Park, IL

 

Compensation:

Competitive starting pay rate $21.85-$25.05Eligible for annual & skill-based wage increasesAdd EXTRA money to your paycheck by referring friends and familyEligible for monthly bonus based upon plant productivity

The Injection Molding Machine Operator will work on a rotating schedule with every other weekend off. Shifts available are below:

 

Night Shift Schedule: 

7:00pm - 7:00am

Responsibilities:

 

Operates and maintains multiple injection molding lines, with ability to run all lines/packaging equipment.Troubleshoots and repairs lines to ensure minimal down time.Ensures production records are maintained in a timely and accurate fashion.Ensures quality requirements are met including perfect case audit, docket info, ZR verification, visual inspection.Trains newer employees in line operation and paperwork.

Quality  

Follow all GMP guidelines required by the site and for each work station Inspect all product passing through the workstation for any possible defects or product concerns Report any concerns on quality of product immediately to appropriate supervision on shift   Qualifications

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in machine operating or maintenance experience within a manufacturing environmentPreferred experience: 1 year machine operating or maintenance within injection moldingManual DexterityExcellent communication skillsDetailed record keeping per the prescribed frequencyHand/eye coordinationAnalytical skillsMath Skills (calculators to determine and record production data)Basic troubleshooting skills to resolve minor machine issues relating to its operationUnderstanding of production measurement tools such as level, etc.Knowledge of product quality standardsPrinciples of Thermoforming machines
