A day in the Life: 

Operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring production standards are met, finalizing products, picking and packaging finished goods, inspecting products. and preparing them for shipping. 

Observing all safety procedures and maintaining a clean and safe work area. 

Following operating procedures and customer specifications to produce quality products which are delivered to customers on time. 

Monitoring the production or packing operation to ensure quality objectives are met. 

Loading and unloading material into & from equipment. 

Working as a team member by sharing information, problem solving & assisting others. 

Using computers as needed to run process operation, input data, update inventory, etc. 

Possessing the ability to clearly speak, understand, and write in English to communicate effectively in both verbal and written contexts. 

 

 

Keys to Success:  

Education 

High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start) 

 

Experience 

One (1) year of plant and/or manufacturing experience 

Experience operating a forklift/PIV 

Post-high school education 

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities 

Basic computer knowledge 

Experience using precision measuring instruments 

Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy
