Job Description
Entry responsibilities include inspection, weeding, and calendaring. As core competencies are developed, has the flexibility to work in other areas, on cross-functional activities, or projects as assigned. We are growing and this team member has a willingness to learn and to train others!
Assignments will vary depending upon business needs Activities may include, but are not limited to:
+ Calendaring/Garment application
+ Weeding
+ Inspection
+ Packaging
+ Manual activities such as shipping and receiving, movement and storage of product/materials/pallets, workstation replenishment
+ Inventory management such as counting, quality inspection, and corresponding recordkeeping and reporting.
+ Use of tools including, hand truck, scales, and measuring devices
+ Use of various machines and printing equipment, as training allows
Qualifications
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required
+ 0-2 year’s previous experience
+ Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a highly participative work team.
+ Ability to work independently, under moderate to minimal supervision in a safe and timely manner
+ Ability to read, interpret and administer SOPs, manuals, instructions, ISO 9000 procedures, special packaging or quality standards.
+ Has mathematical aptitude and logical problem solving skills
+ Must possess or acquire certifications within specified timing in order to perform the job.
+ Ability to push, pull, twist, bend, stand or sit for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs unassisted
+ Must be motivated towards productivity improvement
+ Safety and Quality awareness
