Operations Support Specialist - Retirement Plan Services

**Responsibilities:**
+ Produce, update, and provide best practice support on Microsoft documents, databases, and other departmental systems. Tasks may include purchasing materials, entering budgetary information, and recording time and expenses.
+ Prepare routine letters, email, minutes of meetings, and reports for approval by more senior colleagues or a senior executive.
+ Schedule appointments, make arrangements for meetings and conferences, and organize travel plans, following instructions to ensure more senior colleagues or a senior executive make the best use of their time.
+ Create a local document management system to support departmental efficiency and compliance.
+ Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying data‑driven insights and recommending process enhancements.
+ Pull, compile, and analyze statistical data from multiple systems to support reporting, trend identification, and decision‑making.
+ Utilize internal systems and tools to retrieve operational metrics, generate reports, and prepare summaries for leadership.
+ Apply basic to intermediate statistical methods (e.g., trend analysis, variance analysis, averages, distributions) to identify patterns, anomalies, and performance drivers.
+ Support continuous improvement efforts by translating data into insights and observations that highlight risks, opportunities, and areas for efficiency gains.
**Skills:**
+ Plan, organize, prioritize and oversee activities as they evolve to efficiently meet business objectives.
+ Understand and effectively use standard office equipment and standard software packages to support business processes.
+ Acquire, organize, protect and process data in order to fulfill business objectives.
+ Select and deploy the appropriate office system and to use it to optimum effect.
+ Apply strong technical, statistical and analytical skills to extract, validate, and interpret data with a high degree of accuracy.
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with internal partners and support leadership needs.
