We are seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our team in Denver, CO. In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of a significant piece of our overall business for the installation technicians. Your responsibilities will include training, quality performance, productivity and daily management including tracking attendance and tardiness and addressing any disciplinary issues.

The Role

Ensure tasks assigned to your installation team are fully completed in a timely manner with high-quality workmanshipOversee initial training of system technicians and provide ongoing coaching for high levels of quality and productivityDisplay a strong knowledge of all technical aspects of cable television technology and installation equipment and proceduresReview at least 10% of all work completed by each technician monthly and coach up any deficienciesConduct one Safety Observation, one Ladder and one Vehicle Inspection per tech per monthComplete employee performance reviews and any other needed paperwork Assist warehouse in tracking and collecting all required client equipment from your team of techniciansExceed all client and company performance metrics for your teamMaintain and enforce company, federal and state rules and regulations including non-discriminatory practices, payroll and overtime guidelines, etc.Document appropriate employee disciplinary actions and administer as neededMaximize positive customer, client and vendor relationshipsCommitted to the safety of each individual member of your team including adherence to all federal, state and company safety codes, rules and proceduresEnsure that company resources are secured and maintained in proper working orderTeam’s “expert” as it relates to tools and information designed to enhance business resultsWork flexible schedules - up to 6 days per week when neededConduct and attends all tech meetings and conference calls (weekly, monthly, etc.)Assist in all department functions when requested Requirements  3+ years as a Broadband Technician or equivalent work experience requiredPrior management experience requiredGood verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Working knowledge of National Electric Code, Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and related state and local codes is helpfulAbility to travel up to +/- 10% annuallyComfortable working indoors in confined spaces, poorly ventilated areas such as attics during extreme heat while being exposed to dust, dirt, noise, insects and cleaning solutionsComfortable working outdoors in all kinds of weather and at all times of the day or nightComfortable and able to perform work near power lines and electricityAbility to safely use weight-bearing equipment (safety harness and ladders) within the maximum weight limitations of the equipmentAbility to accurately measure distances, using tapes or other measuring devicesAbility to carry, climb, operate, and work upon an extension ladder, (approximately 28 ft. high and 75 pounds)Ability to differentiate between different sizes and colors of wiresAbility to make cable connections in tight spaces by bending, reaching, twistingExperienced using MS Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook and TeamsAbility to perform job from high places (i.e., poles and roofs in addition to an extension ladder)Ability to use hand tools including electric drills, hammers, wrenches, and screwdriversAbility to safely walk over all types of terrain in all kinds of weather while carrying tools and equipment including ladders and fully loaded tool beltsAbility to work while standing 50-70% of the timeAbility to work with small components and wire to make cable connectionsMust provide a valid government-issued photo ID for verification; a driver’s license is required if the role involves drivingPassing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
