Responsible for all or a major portion of processing operations in a plant. Oversees production operations (shop floor management, workforce management, and flow disruption management), maintenance, plant engineering, scheduling and personnel. Manages and supervises the work of manufacturing production disciplines in the Operations function. Performs professional or management work regularly across multiple Manufacturing disciplines. Includes activities that cannot be attributed to a defined Operations discipline.

Oversee production unit activities to ensure achievement of production targets, quality standards, and cost objectives, including supervision of both exempt and nonexempt team members in production, assembly, subassembly, or fabrication operations.Evaluate and prioritize production schedules based on product launches, efficiency goals, material availability, and workforce capacity.Allocate personnel effectively to meet production targets and optimize output.Ensure product quality and fulfill output requirements consistently.Communicate production and material issues to assigned personnel and collaborate with support teams to resolve any operational disruptions impacting the schedule.Contribute to the improvement of operations by recommending enhancements in materials, equipment, or procedures.Develop manpower plans and schedules for designated areas.Maintain accurate records and reports on schedules, performance, methods, and various production-related data.Provide direct supervision to both exempt and nonexempt employees and may also oversee junior-level supervisors.Fulfill supervisory duties in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and applicable laws.Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and onboarding employees; planning and delegating tasks; evaluating performance; recognizing achievements; administering discipline; and resolving concerns.Address moderately complex issues requiring analysis of identifiable factors and application of sound judgment within established procedures and policies.Serve as a resource to assign units or sub-units and engage actively when necessary to meet production deadlines or address operational problems.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges and ensure the production plan is achieved according to schedule.Adheres to participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others

QUALIFICATIONS:

3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentSupervise and lead document controllers to ensure accurate and timely processing, filing, and distribution of production and quality documents.Plan, coordinate, and monitor panel deliveries to meet production and project schedules.Oversee the Scrap Material Review Board (MRB) process, including identification, documentation, evaluation, and disposition of scrap materials.Track and report on work order (WO) aging; prioritize and coordinate actions to close or progress aging WOs to maintain production flow and meet targets.Manage and monitor QN (Quality Notification) and SRR (Supplier Return Request) processes, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with relevant stakeholders..Collaborate with planning, quality, logistics, and other cross-functional teams to proactively resolve issues affecting production or delivery schedules.Good teamwork & can work with minimum supervisionHighly analytical & very keen on detailsEffective oral and written communication skillsKnowledge of production/process flowKnowledge in basic Supply Chain conceptsUnderstanding Capacity Planning
