Summary: Seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee and optimize plant operations in a non-union metal distribution facility.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 to 5 years supervisory experience Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel Background, physical, and drug screen required before starting work

Preferred Skills:

College education preferred SAP computer experience preferred

Responsibilities:

Direct efficient function of plant operations including production equipment, shipping, receiving, and inventory Understand production goals; implement actions to meet objectives Supervise filling of time-sensitive orders; coordinate shipments ensuring on-time deliveries Provide leadership; coach and counsel employees; facilitate problem-solving activities Ensure training is effectively carried out; oversee completion of the training checklist Communicate with other departments within the facility and other locations Advise on decisions regarding suitability of material and processing capabilities Provide direction in safe work practices; support safety goals; review unsafe conditions

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
