Operations Supervisor
**Job Title: Operations Supervisor** **Location: Ann Arbor, MI** **Shift: M-F | Afternoon (3pm-11:30pm)** **Start Date: 9/8/25** **Contract Length: 3+ Months (Likely Extension)** Summary: The Operations Supervisor is the leader of a production team or teams. They may be part of an Operations Supervisor group responsible for a large number of operators, the sole Operations Supervisor responsible for a single smaller operator team or responsible for several even smaller workflow subsets. They are a resource to team members, providing the knowledge, experience, motivation, support and coaching needed to develop operators to be the best they can be. They have a critical influence on continuous improvement development and implementation. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for knowing proper work instruction procedures for workers to follow and ensuring that they comply. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: ● Drive production staff performance by communicating job expectations; monitoring and appraising job results and providing developmental coaching to drive continuous improvement of each operator. ● They are the primary day-to-day coach of developing operators and responsible for training new entry level employees. ● Maintain a high level of focus on quality and productivity by enforcing organization standards, developing creative approaches to motivate and support a continuous improvement culture. ● Maintain safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures ● To supervise and support all operational activities on site to ensure targets relating to Production, Quality, Health and Safety. ● Play a key part in delivering Operational Full Potential - focus on the continuous improvement process, procedure compliance, problem solving, employee engagement and root cause analysis. ● Assist in the maintenance of reports representing service delivery and operations for daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly SLA’s/KPI’s ● Operate with complex spreadsheets. ● Interface and actively participate in Group project teams on any site project works, providing insight into site production and operations. ● Develop skills and competence of production team to deliver site results via performance management processes, including ongoing coaching and communication ● Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: ● Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal (Ann Arbor) ● Must be comfortable pushing wheeled carts up to 160lbs, walking, sitting and standing and using a keyboard and monitor for 8 hour shift ● Good presentation skills ● Ability to give and receive feedback ● Excellent attitude **Pay Details:** $28.00 to $32.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
