Just look up. **Are you ready to go beyond?** **What You Will Do:** **The Aftermarket Operations team** is looking for an **Operations Supervisor (Cell Leader)** for the Geared Turbo Fan Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (GTF MRO) line operating in West Palm Beach (WPB). This exciting role will support the team responsible for the induction and tear down of engines on the second shift, specifically for the PW1100G-JM commercial engine. The selected individual will lead a team of dedicated bargaining unit hourly employees who work hard to keep our GTF engines in top shape. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and clear communication with leadership, peers, and your team. We're looking for someone who is customer-focused, adaptable, strategic in their thinking, and an excellent communicator. It's important that you embrace continuous improvement and thrive in a dynamic, high-visibility environment. **The 2nd Shift hours are typically 3:00PM - 12:00AM ET, Monday through Friday.** **What You Will Do:** + Provide leadership and direction to the Operation team that ultimately supports desired financial goals and engine return dates. + Collaborate with the Operations and support teams to establish work schedules considering customer requirements, resource availability, and other top priorities. + Proactively generate effective solutions for Quality process control and Continuous Improvement initiatives. + Support process implementation and refinement activities throughout all process gates. + Ensure World Class safety culture is maintained and respond to all EH&S requirements promptly. + Ensure full involvement in continuous improvement initiatives tools to improve production, performance, and reduce overall operating cost. **Qualifications You Must Have:** + Advanced degree and 6+ months of experience in Military, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Aerospace or Aviation Industry; **OR** Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant industry experience; **OR** Associate’s degree and 4+ years of relevant industry experience; **OR** High School diploma and 6+ years of relevant industry experience **Qualifications We Prefer:** + Degree in STEM field; Engineering, Business or Supply Chain. + Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) or Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) license + Specialized knowledge of aircraft maintenance requirements or MRO experience + Leadership and personnel management experience, particularly within a manufacturing environment leading a union workforce. + Knowledge of Union-Management Collective Bargaining Agreements. + Experience with problem-solving tools such as root cause and corrective actions (RCCA) + Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles, and continuous improvement tools (CORE/ACE/SixSigma, QCPC and RCCA). + Experience with Environmental Health & Safety principles. + Experience working with Solumina MES, SAP ERP, MS Office Suite. + Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization including senior level management. **What is my Role Type?** In addition to transforming the future of flight, we are also transforming how and where we work. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
