Operations Specialist

Description

The New Business Transfer Follow-Up role makes outbound calls to external transfer companies to obtain the status of funds for new business cases. This position requires accuracy in documentation, effective communication, and the ability to work independently while meeting daily productivity and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Make outbound status calls to carriers/transfer companies and clearly communicate next steps.Document call outcomes accurately and efficiently in required systems.Navigate multiple systems and follow established procedures and job aids.Follow up on outstanding information and request missing items as needed.Proactively communicate issues, trends, or improvement opportunities to management.Participate in team problem-solving, process improvement, and cross-training.Adapt to workflow changes and manage time effectively to maintain steady productivity.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.1+ years of work experience preferred.Ability to work independently, stay focused, and meet daily metrics in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail and comfort working across multiple systems.Clear verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to escalate issues appropriately.Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to learn new tasks and processes.Strong interpersonal skills and comfort collaborating with management and peers.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of West Des Moines, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
