Operations Specialist

About this role:

The primary purpose of this role is to drive revenue growth through the execution of conference related sales programs across the Global Business Sales (GBS) Channel. This encompasses world-class execution of existing programs (Invitational Programs, Conference Enablement Series, etc.) and working with Conference, Marketing, Services, and other cross functional partners to enhance existing programs or create new programs. This person will lead execution with support from Continental Ops Leaders, Sales Leaders, GSSO, and BU partners. The role will focus on driving progress and business impact with the above-mentioned programs, while making ongoing enhancements to improve the programs and our execution of them.

What you’ll do: 

Program Execution & Strategic EnhancementsBecome an expert on GBS objectives and business needsCollaborate with the conference and marketing teams on planning and execution of sales best practices for key growth programs (including Invitational Programs, Conference Enablement, Virtual Briefings and more).Support execution of long-term strategic priorities and pilotsHelp identify and manage roadmap of enhancements for each program, utilizing feedback to drive iterative improvement plans with Sales Ops Leaders and cross functional business partners.Collaboration & Operational ExcellenceBuild trust-based partnerships with sales leaders, sales operations and cross functional business partners such as Marketing and ConferencesProactively identify opportunities to standardize/improve processesOwn creation of new scalable/globally consistent programs/processes and work with leadership to introduceMaintain open communication; adapt quickly as business needs evolveReporting Excellence and Data AccuracyConduct analysis (quantitative and qualitative) to identify gaps and opportunities, evaluate solutions, and drive continuous improvement.Summarize key insights, such as top/bottom performance for sales teams, and review underlying data for accuracy before sharing deliverables.Partner with Sales Business Associates (SBAs) and other members of the Sales ops team prepare slides for leadership presentations.Work with key partners to ensure we’re aligned in data findings and next steps.Continuous Learning & Professional GrowthEmbody a growth mindset by define development goals that support both individual growth and team successSeek feedback regularly; embrace best practices in analytics, reporting and communication

What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required 2-4 years total business experiencePrevious internal experience preferred; previous sales experience or experience supporting sales a plusAbility to create strong credibility and partnerships with Sales leadership and cross functional partners and become a trusted advisorStrong project management skills including organization, meticulous attention to deal and a strong work ethicAnalytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable next stepsStrong written/oral communication skills and professional presentation when interacting internallyQuick learner with demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness, and intellectual curiosityComfortable operating in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in enterprise tools such as Microsoft Office for data analysis and presentation building

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 56,000 USD - 77,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
