The Withholding and Reconciliation is a niche group within Tax and Cost Basis Operations that serves to provide accurate tax reporting and reconciliations.

What you'll do:

Provide support to tax form production Work collaboratively and optimally with othersEffectively leverage tools and resourcesPartner with internal business partners to ensure compliance with regulationsProvide vision, review and ownership for projects and productionsProvide support during peak volumes for withholding reconciliations and filingsReview and validate Schwab Bank tax and withholding reconciliationWhat you have

Required Qualifications:

1+ years of experience in the tax and/or cost basis industryBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance or Economics preferredExpertise in tax reporting

Preferred Qualifications: 

Highly motivated and results drivenStrong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for service qualityProven tax and cost basis experience and knowledge frameworkKnowledge of IRS regulations in relation to broker/dealer reportingExcellent written and verbal communication skillsFlexibility to work in an evolving environment as processes and procedures are developedStrong MS Excel skills, ability to work with large data setsSchwab Bank experience preferredSeries 7 license preferred
