Operations Services Supervisor (Teller Manager)

As an Operations Services Supervisor at First Citizens Bank, you will be responsible for the operational management of one branch and managing the team of service line associates. This position processes teller transactions and other customer service requests, and facilitates customer awareness and education of bank capabilities, tools and resources. It is responsible for identifying and referring sales opportunities to the appropriate bank partner.

 

This position supports the sales efforts of a branch team. A successful candidate will demonstrate:

Responsibilities

The essential functions of the job include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:

Operational oversight for a branch location, ensuring compliance with all branch operations policy and proceduresResearch and resolve transaction/cash discrepanciesHiring, supervision, and performance management of service line associatesProcessing transactions accurately and efficientlyFacilitating customer awareness and education of bank services, including digital banking capabilitiesAssists with the management of daily sales activity through branch staff coaching of prescribed sales activitiesIntroducing customers to other branch team members or bank partners who can provide solutions for their financial needs
Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and 1 years of experience in Financial services, customer service, bank operations, or branch operations management OR High School Diploma or GED and 5 years of experience in Financial services, customer service, bank operations, or branch operations management

Preferred Skills:1+ years of prior banking experience in an Operational role is highly preferred - either as an Operations Manager or Lead Teller1+ years of team leadership experience - this position will have direct reportsMust be highly organized and detail-orientedMust have knowledge of retail banking products and services. Prior experience as a Bank Teller or Universal Banker would be helpful. This position will assist with account openings, outreach calls, customer service, etc.
