**Job Description**
The candidate will serve as the main point of contact for counterparties/ clients of Bank of America N.A Seoul branch, providing trade support and settlement services for Global markets products. The candidate is expected to handle various FICC products such as FX, rates, and their derivatives, delivering the end-to-end support for Global Markets Sales and Trading in Korea, which includes client onboarding, trade support, settlement and regulatory reporting. Up-to-date market knowledge on key initiatives and developments within global markets business is essential. The candidate will work closely with client/front line of business to ensure transactions are processed under the proper governance and control. Additionally, the candidate will proactively drive process optimization and system enhancements.
**Responsibilities**
- Support daily operations for Global Markets settlement
- Perform related regulatory reporting
- Respond promptly to client queries regarding trade activities and settlement
- Support fails reporting/escalation
- Liaise with internal/external counterparts to ensure timely settlement/resolution of settlement issues
- Involve in ad hoc issues such as new processes or industry initiatives and regulatory inspection support etc.
- Support break investigation and resolution
**Requirements**
- Presentable, confident and client focused
- Excellent communications skills in both Korean and English, with the ability to present to manager and teams/clients
- Ability to work under pressure in a team environment
- Ability to liaise with all levels of the firm and people with different experiences and backgrounds
- Self motivated and able to work under supervision. Candidate should be able to manage own time and know when to escalate.
- Previous experience related to settlement of Money Market, FX, Bond and Derivatives products is preferred
- Knowledge of Operational Risk, Client Money protection and Funding is preferred
- Python/VBA skillsets are preferred
- Copilot user with hands-on experience is preferred
