ActivitiesThe jobholder will be a member of Trading Operations (part of the Front Office) and serve as a key liaison between Operations and other areas of the organization—including Trading Desks, Middle Office, Back Office, Finance, and Legal. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient implementation, operation, and execution of the organization’s expanding commodities portfolio.

It also involves ensuring the avoidance of material imbalances, cash‑out payments, and penalties. In addition, the jobholder must provide accurate, thorough, and timely responses to interdepartmental requests to support smooth operational workflows.
Support the Front Office in managing, optimizing, and controlling costs associated with assigned markets and/or physical activities.Communicate independently with external counterparties and internal teams regarding daily portfolio activities, ensuring effective information flow through both formal and informal channels.Nominate and monitor operational activities within assigned markets and/or physical activities, including managing operational balancing points, meeting industry deadlines, and addressing imbalances to minimize financial exposure.Analyze and verify operational reports to ensure accurate and timely information is obtained and distributed to all relevant parties.Record physical transactions accurately in the organization’s proprietary risk management system, verifying and validating transaction details against third‑party operational statements, and promptly resolving discrepancies.Assist internal teams with deal flow and physical settlement processes, providing necessary reports and statements to support accounts receivable and payable activities.Collaborate with Trading Systems and IT teams on ongoing improvements to proprietary software and hardware.Contribute to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of effective internal controls, ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
