Operations Regulatory Tech III

One of our major oil and gas clients is seeking an Operations Regulatory Tech III to work on a 12-month assignment in their facilities in Anchorage, AK.
Summary:
The Regulatory Technician will provide vital administrative and technical support to ensure uninterrupted business operations related to financial approvals and regulatory compliance. Primary responsibilities include AFE creation and reporting to the Alaska Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (AOGCC). This role is key in maintaining regulatory workflows and supporting operational efficiency.
Responsibilities: Prepare and file regulatory forms and reports for new well completions, re-completions, and other operational changes in accordance with AOGCC guidelines. Manage, create, and distribute AFEs, including tracking approvals and supporting documentation. Coordinate regulatory tests and reporting for well integrity and performance. Produce and maintain daily well reports (e.g., tubing details, wireline operations, workovers). Maintain and organize data systems related to regulatory submissions and financial processes. Interface with various departments (operations, land, finance) to gather accurate information and ensure timely submissions. Utilize systems such as SAP, SightView, and Canvas (preferred) for data management and communication. Support internal meetings by assembling documentation, recording action items, and maintaining organized files.
Requirements: Field or office background in oil and gas operations (especially well work operations), land, or financial services. Familiarity with AOGCC requirements and Alaska oilfield operations. High data accuracy and strong organizational skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally. Prior experience in SAP and SightView; Canvas experience is a plus. Ability to learn quickly and contribute to fast-paced operational goals. Minimum 5 years of experience in oil and gas operations or regulatory support. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook). High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field preferred. #LI-AG3
