Operations Program Manager IV
**Job Description** In Precision Guided Sensing Solutions (PGSS) Product Line, we design and manufacture state-of-the-art sensors and guidance kits that enable our customers to execute their precision strike missions. Our team is currently looking for an Operations Program Manager (OPM IV) to lead Aviation Weapons Swimlane which includes the APKWS production and development programs. In September, the U.S. Navy awarded BAE Systems a five-year, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for APKWS laser-guidance kits to equip U.S. armed forces with tens of thousands of additional low-cost precision munitions. The factory is currently producing eleven thousand Guidance Kits a year and is rated to a max capacity of twenty-five thousand Guidance Kits a year. This high visibility position will be responsible for production execution of the APKWS program in NH, as well as managing our CCA and E-Stack feeder factory out of Austin, TX. This position is the Cost Account Manager responsible for all Operations budgets and is accountable for achieving the contractual deliveries for the budgets baselined. The leader is expected to demonstrate total ownership of the program, and to be a strategic influencer within the PGSS PL and PS BA community. The position will direct report to the PGSS Product Line Operations Director, with a direct line of communication to the Product Line. This role will require significant strategic thinking and leadership as the production execution model transforms to meet the needs of the program. The successful applicant will need to demonstrate creativity in the application of lean manufacturing concepts to a high technology, complex production environment. This leader will also need to strategically partner with our APKWS development programs to plan for long term capital and facility investment and strategically influence future designs for process capability to maximize production efficiency. **Required Education, Experience, & Skills** + Bachelor's Degree and 10 years work experience or equivalent experience + Ability to lead in a cross-functional team environment, with a customer-focused approach, and an aptitude for continuous improvement in serving internal and external customers + Demonstrated success in implementing lean manufacturing and supply chain initiatives + Record of success in supporting increasing demand while continuing to meet key performance indicators. + Strong diplomatic, communication, presentation and negotiation skills + Ability to manage and report status of projects within a project management discipline + Ability to provide strategic contributions while successfully executing on tactical objectives **Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills** + Master s Degree and a combination of 12 years of Operations / Supply Chain experience + Strategic Development + Experience working on development programs + Experience leading large proposals + Lean and Six-Sigma certified from an accredited source + Proficiency in office technologies including MS Word, Excel, Access, Project, PowerPoint; Visio + Proficiency with continuous process improvement methodologies and tool; strong group facilitation skills **Pay Information** Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
