JOB TITLE:                       Operations/ Production Graduate                DEPARTMENT:                Production   REPORTING TO:              Production Manager/ Senior Production Manager/ Head of Operations   Individual Contributor or People Manager:  Individual Contributor     OBJECTIVES OF POSITION: The Operations / Production Graduate will support day-to-day manufacturing and operational activities within a regulated medical device manufacturing environment. The role is designed to develop strong foundational skills in production operations, continuous improvement, quality compliance, and cross-functional collaboration while contributing to safe, efficient, and compliant manufacturing processes.   RESPONSIBILITIES: Support daily production operations to ensure output targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved   Assist in monitoring and reporting key production metrics (yield, efficiency, downtime, scrap)   Participate in continuous improvement initiatives including Lean, Six Sigma, and process optimization activities   Support implementation and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions   Assist with production planning, scheduling, and material flow activities   Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Maintenance teams to resolve production issues   Support investigations into non-conformances, deviations, and CAPAs as required   Assist with equipment validation, process validation, and change control activities   Participate in training activities and support documentation updates   Promote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the production floor     Quality:      Assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements Health & Safety:     Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Legislation and Regulations.   MEASUREMENTS: Achievement of assigned production and project objectives   Adherence to quality, safety, and compliance requirements   Timely completion of assigned tasks and improvement initiatives   Contribution to operational efficiency, waste reduction, and continuous improvement projects     PERSONNEL SPECIFICATIONS   Qualifications and Experience: Level 7/8 Honours Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Science, or a related discipline   Knowledge of manufacturing processes within a regulated environment is an advantage   Strong interest in operations, production, and continuous improvement methodologies   Previous medical device or regulated manufacturing experience is preferred     Core Competencies: High attention to detail   Analytical thinking and structured problem-solving ability   Strong organizational and time management skills   Effective communication and teamwork skills   Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment   Commitment to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement
