Job DescriptionThe Operations Optimization Program Manager will support the critical deployment of strategic and special projects across U.S. laboratory operations. This role partners closely with laboratory leadership, operations, IT, and quality teams to drive execution, process optimization, and system adoption. The ideal candidate has a foundational understanding of Lean and continuous improvement principles, experience working with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), and strong program management and coordination skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the deployment of strategic, operational optimization, and special projects across multiple U.S. laboratory sitesTravel extensively (up to 50%) to laboratory locations to support on‑site project execution and implementationCoordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure timely and effective project deliveryApply basic Lean and continuous improvement concepts to support workflow optimization, throughput improvement, and process standardizationPartner with laboratory teams to analyze current processes and identify improvement opportunitiesSupport LIMS‑related initiatives, including implementation, optimization, and user adoption, with a focus on TALSAct as a liaison between laboratory operations, IT, and other stakeholders during system and process improvement initiativesTrack project milestones, risks, timelines, and dependencies; prepare regular status updates for leadershipSupport change management efforts, including communication, training material development, and SOP updatesAssist in establishing scalable operational best practices across the laboratory networkEnsure alignment with Eurofins quality standards and regulatory requirements Lead and support the deployment of high‑impact operational and optimization projects across multiple U.S. laboratory sitesQualificationsBasic Minimum Requirements:
Education: GED or equivalent
Experience:
Experience supporting or managing operational or cross‑functional projectsProfessional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.Ability to travel up to 50%PMP, Lean management or Continuous Improvement certifications (a plus, not required)Experience supporting or managing operational or cross‑functional projectsBasic understanding of Lean and continuous improvement methodologiesExperience working with a LIMS system (hands‑on or project‑based experience)Preferred Qualifications:
Direct experience with TALSStrong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to work across multiple sites and adapt to a fast‑paced laboratory environmentProficiency with standard business tools (Excel, PowerPoint, project tracking toolsExperience supporting laboratory operations in a regulated environmentExposure to Lean tools such as value stream mapping, 5S, or KaizenExperience with system deployments, process standardization, or operational transformationsAdditional InformationPosition will be Monday- Friday 9:00 AM- 5:00 PM, with overtime as needed.
Pay Range: Starting at $70,000- $100,000 based on experience.
