Job Title: Operations Onboarding Analyst
Job Description

The Operations Onboarding Analyst is responsible for facilitating all aspects of the account opening and funding process for new and existing clients across both private client and institutional business lines. This role manages end-to-end onboarding activities, coordinates with internal and external partners, and supports ongoing account maintenance while ensuring high standards of client service, operational excellence, and regulatory adherence.

ResponsibilitiesSupport and facilitate all aspects of the account opening and funding process for clients in the institutional and private client businesses.Communicate promptly with internal client service and relationship teams to obtain required KYC documentation for account opening and funding.Manage an inbound queue of ticket requests within the internal task management system and ensure timely execution of tasks in line with established SLAs and goals.Navigate and manage workflow across multiple systems and applications to meet evolving business demands and operational requirements.Partner with external custodian partners to open and fund accounts, process daily account maintenance requests, and complete due diligence-related audits and reports.Use sound judgment to escalate issues and exception requests that fall outside firm policies and procedures, and own the resolution communication to all impacted stakeholders.Manage all aspects of proxy voting operations, including proactive reporting and support for prospective client requests for proposals (RFPs).Collaborate closely with Legal, Compliance, Internal Controls, Technology, Client Services, and other operational teams to deliver on firm-wide goals.Identify and escalate control gaps and propose best practices, tools, and process enhancements to create a more efficient and effective operating environment.Lead and contribute to firm-wide and departmental value-add projects and present project findings to leadership and other stakeholders as needed.Maintain a strong client-first mentality by providing excellent client service and timely follow-up throughout the onboarding and account maintenance lifecycle.Handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.Essential SkillsBachelor’s degree required.0–1 years of work experience, ideally in finance, operations, or a related client-facing environment.Ability to handle confidential material with utmost discretion.Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency.Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Strong decision-making and organizational skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated client service orientation and a client-first mentality.Proven flexibility and strong follow-up skills.Proficiency with Excel and comfort working with data and spreadsheets.Familiarity or experience with private client or finance environments.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working with institutional or private client businesses is beneficial.Exposure to task management or ticketing systems is an advantage.Experience coordinating with external custodians or financial service providers is a plus.Ability to manage workflows across multiple systems and applications.Interest in participating in projects and presenting findings to leadership.Strong collaboration skills when working with Legal, Compliance, Technology, and other operational teams.Motivation to grow into a long-term role with potential for permanent employment.Work Environment

This role is 100% on-site with standard hours of 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The office is located on the water and offers a modern, energetic environment with a cool, collaborative vibe. The workplace occasionally provides catered lunches, contributing to a positive and engaging culture. Parking is available, with costs incorporated into the hourly rate structure. The environment is fast-paced and team-oriented, with frequent interaction across operations, client service, and other support functions, and regular use of Excel, internal task management systems, and multiple operational platforms.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Baltimore, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
