Operations Officer
*OPERATIONS OFFICER* WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager by supporting Item Processing colleagues in completing daily tasks and ensuring the operational integrity of assigned function and adherence to Bank policies and procedures. Monitors workflow and functionality across multiple applications to ensure operation efficiency. Assists with cross training within the department to maintain optimal coverage and promote colleague development. WHAT WILL YOU DO? * Monitors workflow to ensure daily service level agreements are met. * Identifies and escalates operational impacts to production. * Reviews incoming client electronic image deposits from various sources using Windows-based Item Processing back-office application. * Ensures quality image eligibility of items deposited for adherence to all rules established for the applicable remote capture process; ensures review is done within established service level agreement. * Identifies non-conforming items, rejecting them back to the capture source when required; makes applicable adjustments to balance transactions. * Prepares applicable transmissions for transit items to be cleared through electronic channels according to deadlines and/or dispatch schedules. * Prepares paper items for sorter capture where required; ensures that control documents are properly prepared to give the customers accurate availability of funds deposited and that transactions are processed on a timely basis. * Performs End of Day balancing and validation processes. * Reviews and approves incoming mobile deposits. * Assumes supervisory role when Operations Manager is not in office WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? *Required Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree or equivalent * At least three years supervisory experience *Additional Qualifications* * Comprehensive understanding of Windows networks and file movements * Previous Electronic Payment System experience within a financial institution * Has at least an intermediate level of proficiency with computers and current technology * Ability to communicate with bank personnel and good writing skills * Ability to function independently and make deadlines and quality standard *WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?* *Compensation*Starting base salary: $24.46 - $36.69 per hour. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
