THE ROLE

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assists the director in managing, supervising and scheduling all aspects of operations, including building and grounds; technical services; event services, ADA compliance; custodial services.Coordinates the operations activities with other building departments and show-related contractors.Implement facility rules, regulation policies and procedures.Anticipate problems and appropriate solutions. Investigates, analyzes and resolves operational problems and complaints.Provide clear, concise, and timely communication of directives to other departments.Ensures that operations department receives pertinent information for most effective use of the facility and staffing.Assures facility readiness and smooth operation of events.Oversees maintenance of the equipment.Serves as Manager on Duty as required.

Supervisory Responsibilities (if the specific role needs it)       

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with all Legends & ASM policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience          

Bachelor's Degree in related field preffered.Minimum of 2 years experience in Supervising or Managing in a similar facilityAdditional experience may be substituted for educationSupervisory experience preferred

Excellent organization skillsAbility to prioritize and to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyGood written, verbal and interpersonal skills required; ability to interact with all levels of staff including managementAbility to effectively supervise staffStrong customer service skillsProfessional presentation, appearance and work ethicSome computer skillsAbility to work with limited supervision and as a team memberRequires ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays, in addition to normal business hours.
