We are seeking an Operations Manager in Kemtpen who is passionate about deploying lean tools and behavior, building highly talented teams and inspiring step-function improvements in business performance with a foundation of sustainable process discipline.

Position summary:

Our organization is seeking a talented candidate for the role Operations Leader to lead a team of motivated professionals in Production and Shipping.

The Operations Manager is an meaningful leader within Hydro Analytics and an integral part of the Global Operations Leadership Team and directly reports to the VP Global Operations. This position also assumes responsibility for cross-functional company and/or cross-operational initiatives and meetings.

The successful Operations Manager will deploy the lean tools and behaviors of our Veralto Enterprise System. She/he will develop a continuous improvement culture and lean process focus to set and deliver Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost & Inventory (SQDCI) objectives and drive the long-term commercial success for a portfolio of new and existing products at the Kempten site.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

Building a highly performing continuous improvement environment

Leadership and Talent Management: Support & lead performance of the Kempten Operations team of 25 associates in Production, Manufacturing Engineering and Shipping through 5 direct reports. Coach, train and counsels associates to ensure performance standards and to improve performance.Serve as a key member of the Operations leadership team to lead the integral planning, production and shipment process and demonstrates Kempten site-wide leadership.Own and drive targeted, sustainable improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Working Capital turns and Productivity related KPI’s/objectives Inspire a high‑performance culture where ambitious goals are achieved through the disciplined, purpose‑driven application of Veralto Enterprise System tools. Champion Daily Management and the Problem‑Solving Process to create clarity, momentum, and engagement. Lead transformative kaizen events—from thoughtful planning, to energizing execution, to disciplined sustainment—change‑leadership behaviors that empower teams to continually improve and win together.Interacts with the cross functional team members including Procurement, Quality, Sales, Engineering and Finance to support and  drive growth for existing products.As a member of the Environmental Health and Safety team the Operations Manager maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; aligning with legal regulations

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor/ Master degree in Manufacturing/Engineering/Logistic Management/Supply ChainGerman and English fluency required. Ability to effectively present information, influence, persuade, and respond to questions from groups of executives, managers, peers, and customers5+ years of Leadership in discrete assembly environment. Experience in Electronics industry is a plus. Demonstrated leadership and managerial skills to attract top talent, developing high performers and holding people accountable for performanceModels humility, transparency and integrity in all interactions with internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrated examples of implementing lean manufacturing, critical metric measurement and analytics and driving leadership within successful organizations.Demonstrates Drive for Results in personal, team and organizational performance. Able to flex from being hands-on and detail-oriented to seeing the big picture and thinking strategicallyAble to identify and prioritize the tasks necessary to meet long- and short-term objectives and effective time management and multi-tasking abilities to achieve these objectivesMust have high level of agility, excellent decision making and problem-solving skillsRole requires 100% onsite presence.
