✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

\n\nAccountable for the day to day management, decision making and delivery of the easyJet operation from Gatwick Airport\nEscalation to the DHL Senior Team and easyJet and GAL for safety critical events and trends on operational performance / customer experience. \nProvide support to the Senior BOH Manager to manage the BOH team including Ramp Colleagues, TCOs and SOC\nSupport in the day to day management of the APMs which are most senior on shift person managing the whole DHL operation at LGW\nProvide holiday cover for the Senior and creates a continuous a succession line from running shift to first step in running a department\nManaging day to day operational activities to fulfil customer requirements for OTP\nAdherence to compliance both internal and external regulatory bodies\nMaintain and promote compliance to all CAA requirements - Flight Files \nControl and monitor IT tools such as AMS, Mobilise\nMonitor agreed resource level across site in line with budgets, and productivity targets\nManage and enhance performance management\nEngage with Union to facilitate collaboration between management and colleagues throughout the operation to deliver the goals\nEnsure effective communication processes are established for both internal and external customers\nReview, develop and maintain/improve operational processes in line with GHM guidelines\nRecord and proactively manage KPI's to drive continuous improvement in the service level and cost performance to AWC\nLiaise with Safety team on safety audits and support corrective and preventive actions \nWork towards minimising impact on delays due to operational process error\nSupport overseeing the contract budget/overtime control\nWorking with the customers to ensure that the budget is maintained\nKnowledge sharing, develop internal network with finance teams\nKey lead on internal CI projects within department \n\n

✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

\n\nPrevious P&L accountability \nIT literate- particularly capable to input, manipulate and analyse Excel/Power Bi Data\nAbility to manage teams through on shift managers\nHold a valid UK driving license (essential)\nCan work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays\nAre confident dealing with challenging situations\nWork well within a team and have excellent communication skills\nAre willing to attend a medical appointment\n\n
