Operations Manager
Description We are looking for a highly skilled Operations Manager to lead and optimize the operational functions of our firm in Santa Barbara, California. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of managing firm-wide initiatives, overseeing team collaboration, and improving processes to drive organizational success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, human resources, and wealth management. Responsibilities: • Lead firm-wide projects and oversee their successful implementation while aligning with organizational growth strategies. • Organize and manage monthly team meetings, ensuring effective communication across operations and advisory teams. • Maintain and update firm policies and procedures manuals, ensuring compliance and relevance. • Prepare presentations and materials for retreats, meetings, and other firm events. • Oversee billing processes and office expenses, ensuring accurate and timely transactions. • Manage employee relations, including hiring, onboarding, termination processes, payroll approvals, and annual reviews. • Foster a positive workplace culture by organizing team-building activities, appreciation events, and addressing employee concerns. • Enhance client relationships by developing creative appreciation initiatives, resolving complex service issues, and ensuring high satisfaction levels. • Research and implement technology solutions to improve efficiency, train team members, and ensure accurate data reconciliation. • Monitor compliance by staying informed about industry trends, attending relevant training, and adhering to ethical and meticulous standards. Requirements • Proven experience in operations management, preferably within the wealth management or financial services industry. • Strong knowledge of human resources practices, including hiring, payroll, and employee relations. • Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Proficiency in technology systems such as Salesforce and Orion, with experience in data reconciliation and troubleshooting. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with clients and team members. • Ability to analyze and adapt to changes in regulatory and industry environments. • Detail-oriented and results-driven, with a focus on achieving goals efficiently and accurately. • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
