Roles and Responsibilities:
● Develop and implement effective procurement strategies.
● Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure the best terms and conditions.
● Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
● Monitor and analyze market trends to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
● Ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
● Manage inventory levels and optimize inventory turnover.
● Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.
● Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs
● Resolve any procurement-related issues or disputes.
● Stay updated with industry trends and regulations relevant to procurement.
Skill sets:
● Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
● Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role.
● Strong knowledge of Supply chain, Operations and Procurements principles and practices.
● Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
● Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
● Proficient in using purchasing software and MS Office
● Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
