Wells Fargo is seeking an Operations Manager for as part of Consumer and Small Business Banking Operation within the Cash Managements Service Operations


In this role, you will:

Manage and develop one or more specialized customer service and operations functional teams within Operations area with complex and risk in functional areaDevelop strategies to improve staffing processes, ensure specialized functions meet regulatory guidelines in support of risk management and complianceEngage stakeholders and internal partners associated within the Operations areaWork independently on moderately complex issues and projectsIdentify opportunities for process improvement and risk control development and escalates issues to more experienced managementProvide training, performance, evaluation and coaching of less experienced teamMake decisions and resolve issues regarding resources, objectives and operations of functional area and team to meet business objectivesInterpret and develop policies and procedures for operation functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibilityProvide responsibility for budget and financial performanceCollaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managersLead team to achieve objectivesManage allocation of people and financial resources for OperationsMentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent


Required Qualifications:

4+ years of Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education2+ years of leadership experience


Desired Qualifications:

4+ years of Cash  Management Services Operations experienceWorkforce management experience including: directing activities of team members, performance management, career development, coaching, mentoring, and succession planningCash management operating system experienceAbility to identify risks and propose mitigation plansAbility to manage to production goals, deadlines, and various metrics including capacity planning, forecasting, process improvement, and measurementsAbility to  influence and collaborate at all levels of an organization; including senior leadership/managementExperience leading other exempt level managersExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAdvanced Microsoft Office skillsAdaptability and ability to think on your feet to adjust and react to daily operations issues. Ability to interact with all levels of an organizationAbility to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problemsAbility to manage initiatives involving process improvementsExperience successfully collaborating with others in a change driven environmentStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyStrong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines


Job Expectations:

Flexibility and willing to work non-standard hours; including holidays, weekends & extended shifts.This is a Monday - Friday position with a start time of 7:00am-4:00pm. Scheduled and time will be adjusted according to the opening and closing times of the vault.
