Operations Manager

TalentWorld is hiring for a recognized leader in the Security industry who is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day administration and management of contracted security services.
This is a unique opportunity to step into a leadership role where your experience in law enforcement or security operations will have a direct impact on the safety, compliance, and success of high-profile facilities. The Operations Manager will serve as the primary liaison between client leadership and security resources, ensuring seamless service delivery, incident response, and personnel oversight.

Operations Manager Requirements
?  Act as the primary point of contact for client leadership, ensuring smooth operational setup during transitions and maintaining oversight across all shifts (day, evening, night, weekends).
?  Oversee personnel management by reviewing schedules, setting performance expectations, addressing performance issues, and ensuring resources meet all required qualifications and certifications.
?  Provide regular reporting and updates on personnel changes, security clearances, and overall contract performance.
?  Conduct supervisory visits, quality control checks, and ensure delivery of training in alignment with operational procedures and compliance standards.
?  Respond to operational issues, emergencies, and facility concerns with on-site presence when required, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
?  Investigate, document, and report incidents, maintaining detailed electronic logs and ensuring proper verbal and written reporting to leadership.

Operations Manager Qualifications
?  Minimum 5 years of management experience in law enforcement or security services (e.g., Armed Forces, RCMP, Correctional Services, Police, or licensed private security), including direct oversight of employees, scheduling, and performance management.
?  Proven leadership and supervisory abilities with a track record of building accountable, high-performing teams.
?  Strong communication skills with expertise in preparing reports, documenting incidents, and delivering clear direction.
?  Ability to work flexible hours, including responding to emergencies and supporting operations across multiple shifts.
?  Valid security clearance and required certifications (e.g., security license, RAIC, VSC, PW clearances); familiarity with operational procedures and compliance standards considered an asset.
