A key senior leadership role, responsible for defining KPIs, driving results, and keeping the management team aligned and effective in a high-performance, first-class culture.
The right candidate blends hands-on experience in a processing plant/ manufacturing operations with proven leadership ability, using strong communication and organizational skills to elevate teams, streamline structure, and champion a culture where accountability and care go hand in hand.
Operations Manager Responsibilities: Oversee processing plant and 4 direct reports and 60+ indirect. Set clear goals, KPIs, and reporting expectations. Hold team members accountable for deliverables and results. Build structure by formalizing SOPs, training, and knowledge transfer. Ensure consistent, transparent communication across the business. Work with the CEO and executives on strategy and growth. Coordinate fleet operations (route efficiency, vehicle maintenance) Foster a positive culture where employees feel valued and motivated. Manage P&L for operations, focusing on cost control and margin improvement. Forecast volumes, labor needs, and resources based on customer demand. Drive continuous improvement in workplace safety culture. The successful candidate has: Proven experience in senior operational leadership (Operations Manager or Senior Plant Manager) within manufacturing or processing plant Demonstrated ability to organize teams, implement structure, and hold leaders accountable. Strong communication skills with the ability to keep staff informed, engaged, and aligned. Track record of creating or improving SOPs, reporting frameworks, and training programs. Culturally aligned leader, values people, builds trust, and balances accountability with care. Hands-on, approachable, and comfortable in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment. Compensation and benefits: Competitive salary in the range of $120,000–$135,000 based on previous experience. Comprehensive benefits package.
