Operations Manager
**Job Title: Operations Manager** **Job Description** Supervise a team of production supervisors, shop, and field service employees. **Responsibilities** + Direct all service center supervisors and personnel in proper safety procedures related to their duties, including use of proper PPE. + Interview, hire, and train employees; plan, assign, and direct work; evaluate performance; reward and discipline employees; address complaints and resolve problems. + Oversee the priority scheduling of all service work, including field service 'rush' jobs and routine repair jobs. + Coordinate all inter-departmental work toward job completion within the defined and approved work scope. + Manage both hourly and salary workforce by mentoring and providing ongoing career coaching. + Monitor, manage, and report on all P&L activities, including day-to-day operations, capital expenditures, job costing analysis, inventory control, indirect costs, and operational deficiencies. + May require customer site visits occasionally. **Essential Skills** + Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. + Management experience in manufacturing, preferably in the power generation industry. + Strong business acumen with prior management experience of P&L, including financial budgeting. + Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with the ability to create and present monthly operational and financial performance reports with KPIs and improvement plans. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + BBA/BBM/BSEE/BSME degree from an accredited university with an emphasis on business management is preferred. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage, flexible spending account, short- and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, and a 401(k) with a company match.
