Operations Manager

Responsibilities:Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including the coordination of lean manufacturing programs.Lead the implementation of best practices through error-proofing systems.Manage the plant’s tooling (spare parts) budget.Coordinate daily operations to ensure on-time deliveries to customers.Improve equipment and machinery uptime through effective preventive maintenance coordination.Develop high-potential candidates for key positions through performance evaluations and talent reviews.Prepare capital expenditure requests for the implementation of major projects focused on modernization and automation.Implement scrap reduction programs and track progress.Oversee plant personnel to meet productivity and operational requirements.Prepare and submit reports to the Plant Manager regarding operational activities.Participate in regular meetings with production, engineering, and maintenance teams.Communicate strategic and operational activities aimed at achieving company objectives.

Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably with team leadership responsibilities—or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Proficiency in English (written and verbal).Strong attention to detail in manufacturing environments.Experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies.Knowledge of ISO 9000 quality management standards.Ability to work effectively across multiple organizational levels.Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering high-quality results.Self-motivated and capable of working both independently and in a team environment.Legal authorization to work in Mexico (no sponsorship will be provided for this position).

Onsite Work Arrangement:

This role is based fully onsite, and not eligible for hybrid or remote work opportunities.
