Description We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the operations of multiple warehouses in Galveston, Texas. This role requires a strong background in supply chain management and logistics, with a focus on improving efficiency, accuracy, and cost control. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who excels in fostering collaboration and driving organizational success. Responsibilities: • Manage the operations of five warehouses, ensuring productivity, accuracy, and cost-efficiency. • Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes and procedures. • Analyze operational and financial reports to identify opportunities for improvement. • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems effectively to oversee daily operations and inventory control. • Promote teamwork and clear communication among staff to achieve organizational goals. • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies across all locations. • Collaborate with leadership to align warehouse operations with broader supply chain objectives. • Lead efforts to enhance performance metrics and operational efficiency. • Supervise and mentor warehouse teams, providing guidance and training to improve performance. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or supply chain logistics. • Proven expertise in supply chain management, logistics, and inventory control. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational and financial data. • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems and other relevant IT tools. • Ability to lead teams effectively and foster collaboration. • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred. • In-depth knowledge of warehouse distribution and inventory processes. • Strong commitment to maintaining safety standards and compliance regulations.
