What this opportunity involves: 

JLL is seeking a skilled Operations Manager to join our building management team at Endeavour Hills Shopping Centre.

Working with the Centre Manager and Administration Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the property, serving as the on-site key contact for stakeholders and clients. You'll manage operational budgets, maintenance regimes, contractor relationships, minor works, and risk and compliance programs.


An overview of the role:  

•    Implement and maintain property risk management programs and compliance with OH&S regulations
•    Assist with annual operating budgets and ensure operations meet financial targets
•    Manage contractor relationships and ensure adherence to safety standards
•    Coordinate tenancy fitouts with client-appointed coordinators
•    Prepare detailed operational reports and monitor performance metrics
•    Maintain retailer relationships through regular communication
•    Conduct building audits and maintain asset registers
•    Oversee security measures and emergency procedures

Sound like you?  This is what we’re looking for: 

•    Bachelor's degree in facilities management, building, business or related field
•    3-5 years' experience in facilities or property management (retail-related asset experience preferred)
•    Knowledge of local OH&S requirements and contractor management
•    Understanding of technical property systems (air-conditioning, fire protection, CCTV, BMS)
•    Experience interpreting commercial contracts
•    Strong budgeting skills and financial acumen
•    Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
