Operations Manager, Kitroom
**What you will do** In this role, you will lead end-to-end intralogistics and kit room operations, ensuring best-in-class performance in warehousing, inventory management, kitting, transportation, and surgical case delivery. You will oversee internal teams, drive operational excellence, ensure compliance with healthcare regulatory standards, and support continuous-improvement initiatives in efficiency, cost, service quality, and sustainability. + Oversee daily intralogistics, warehousing, inventory control, kitting, and outbound transportation operations. + Manage performance, compliance, and service levels of internal teams. + Ensure accurate preparation, dispatch, return, and reconciliation of surgical kits, implants, and instrument sets. + Safeguard adherence to internal quality procedures, healthcare regulatory requirements, and company policies. + Lead the development, training, and performance of the Intralogistics & Kit Room team. + Drive continuous-improvement projects focused on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, service quality, and sustainability. + Collaborate with commercial field teams and internal stakeholders to ensure reliable support for surgery schedules. + Monitor operational KPIs, identify risks, and implement corrective and preventive actions to maintain high service levels. **What you will need** Required: + Advanced English and fluent Spanish. + Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Production, Logistics) or Business/Commercial Engineering. + More than 5 years in logistics, supply chain, or production operations, including at least 2 years leading teams. + Experience managing high-criticality operational processes (surgical kit rotation, sterile workflows, traceability). + Knowledge of inventory control, FEFO/FIFO methods, SLA management, and MDI/Lean practices. + Experience with audit processes, compliance requirements, standardization, and SOX controls. + Proven leadership in operational team management, talent development, and shift coordination. + Proficiency with Excel (intermediate/advanced), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms. Preferred: + Portuguese language skills. + Experience working with JD Edwards (JDE). + Experience in medical devices, hospital operations, or surgical logistics. + Training or experience with Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt). + Ability to work with data-analysis tools (Power BI or similar). + Experience leading automation, layout-optimization, or Kaizen projects.
