**Job Description Summary** Drives initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the Quality function and interfaces with other functions within the T&O and D&S organizations to provide effective coordination of metrics, dashboards, functional processes, Flight Deck roll out, DMS, and cross-functional initiative coordination across the Turbine Airfoils Quality department. Owns/influences budgets and operating plans and may also be focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline. The role has significant autonomy within the operational area or a segment within a larger business unit. The role may have a major impact on the Turbine Airfoil Part Family . High levels of evaluative judgment and operational acumen are required to achieve outcomes. The job also strongly encourages deletion, modification, and improvement of procedures and practices covering work as long as the end results meet standards of acceptability (quality, volume, timeliness etc.). Knowledge of airfoil manufacture, design, and materials is not necessary but strongly desired in order to understand the customers of this role and their priorities.
