Our Global IT organization helps develop and supports internal information technology systems and applications used by all staff levels. You’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to achieve complex business requirements/solutions driving from strategy to execution.
The Operations Leader will use a mix of technical, leadership, communication and client service skills to support the DDO Advisory Portfolio.
An analytical approach and system thinking will be required to drive the team members to provide insight and feedback to support and product teams for root cause resolution and product enhancements to improve the usability and supportability of the Advisory platforms in scope.
Additional responsibilities include participation in Major Incident Management calls for technical issues, driving to service restoration or resolution and escalating as necessary.

Application Support:
Provide operational support for cloud-based applications (Microsoft Azure)
Monitor application performance and availability•
Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues
Maintenance and Optimization:
Responsible for operational performance and producing plans to optimize product performance and to ensure application health
Incident Management:
Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to overcome complexities, resolve issues and successfully steer their team towards delivering a quality service
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Applies knowledge to direct the resolution of issues and provide thought leadership on delivering new requirements / services and improvements
Troubleshoot and resolve application performance bottlenecks
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation and follow existing processes to document & implement
Expertise in the technical implementation and operation of mission critical IT services
Comprehensive understanding of a complex suite of IT applications / components
Able to work as a team leader and work collaboratively with all members of the team in the delivery of the services
Apply knowledge to comply with the Firmwide Technology Governance, processes and policies
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
Champion and adhere to the Evolved PwC Professional
Requirements of the role3 years' IT Operations team management
5 years’ experience in SME role - diagnosing and troubleshooting application and infrastructure incidents
Experience using domain knowledge and relevant specialization to identify the area of fault (code, environment or configuration) and cooperating with the appropriate team(s) in constructing or implementing the fix
Experience managing multiple conflicting deadlines and competing priorities in an Agile environment
Experience working in a globally distributed team - previous experience in planning/building shifts rotation
Experience with enterprise platforms such as Azure, Kubernetes, Microsoft SQL, and CI/CD pipelines
Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex support environments.
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.
