**Operations Leader** **Description** Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc\. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, professional turf\-care equipment, and ground support equipment\. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands\. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves\. Responsibilities: * Organize the day\-to\-day operations within assigned work area to meet production schedules in the most efficient manner\. * Review daily operations for workmanship, safe working conditions, and compliance and report on progress against established goals\. * Build effective team of hourly employees by selecting, motivating, developing, training, and resolving conflicts\. * Review and recommend short\- and long\-term resource requirements, equipment, and facilities improvements\. * Coordinate with warehousing, logistics, facilities teams to work through material shortages or emergency maintenance disruptions, escalating when necessary\. * Recommend and expedite the servicing and repair of equipment and facilities and realign production sequences to accommodate emergency maintenance schedules\. * Continuously improve operations by identifying causes of waste and implementing change, including workplace layouts, communication methods, and production processes\. * Recommend workplace layouts, production methods, and production efficiencies by auditing operations to improve production flow and reduce costs\. * Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Production Control, Quality, and Marketing teams to implement changes in product design, tooling, equipment, delivery methods, supplier defects, and delivery schedules **Qualifications** Qualifications: * Education: Bachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of experience required, OR in lieu of degree a HS Diploma/GED required, and 5 or more years of manufacturing experience, supervisory experience preferred * Software Knowledge: Microsoft Applications \(Outlook Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc\.\) * Demonstrated leadership, communication, interpersonal, and teambuilding skills * Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma **EEO Statement** Textron is committed to providing Equal Opportunity in Employment, to all applicants and employees regardless of race, color, religion, age, national origin, military status, veteran status, disability, sex \(including pregnancy and sexual orientation\), genetic information or any other characteristic protected by law\. **Recruiting Company:** Textron Specialized Vehicles **Primary Location:** US-Georgia-Cartersville **Job Function:** Manufacturing **Schedule:** Full-time **Job Level:** Manager without Direct Reports **Job Type:** Experienced **Shift:** First Shift **Relocation:** Available **Job Posting:** 09/10/2025, 12:58:18 PM **Job Number:** 336221
