Title / Designation: Operations Lead Location:  Chennai (Hybrid)

 

Role & responsibilities:

 

Lead delivery across multiple data engineering and analytics projects. Review architecture, code quality, and platform design decisions. Support debugging, optimization, and stabilization of data pipelines. Improve platform reliability, SLAs, data quality, and governance standards. Standardize CI/CD, DevOps, and operational best practices. Handle production escalations and ensure smooth delivery operations. Mentor engineering teams and drive engineering maturity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. Drive operational excellence across cloud data platforms and analytics ecosystems.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Candidate requirements:

 

5+ years of experience in Data Engineering / Platform Engineering. 2+ years of experience leading multi-project technical delivery. Strong hands-on coding expertise in Python and SQL. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong understanding of Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Synapse, or Redshift. Exposure to orchestration tools such as Airflow, ADF, or Prefect. Familiarity with Kafka/Kinesis/PubSub, CI/CD, Docker, Terraform, and DevOps practices. Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in high-pressure production environments.
