Allied Universal® is hiring an Intel Analyst. The Intelligence Analyst is responsible for monitoring global events, assessing threats, and delivering actionable intelligence to protect customer assets, operations, and brand reputation. This role involves collecting and analyzing open-source data, producing high-quality reports and briefings, and supporting crisis response efforts. The analyst also plays a key role in innovating intelligence processes, integrating emerging technologies like AI/ML, and collaborating with Corporate Security, GSOC, and key stakeholders to enhance situational awareness and decision-making.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage the “intelligence cycle” through the systematic collection, collation, evaluation, interpretation and analysis of information and process this into timely, accurate, and relevant intelligenceAssure quality of incident and intelligence reports; edit reports prior to committing to the intelligence cycle; evaluate Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) staff intelligence and risk assessment work product and coach and mentor GSOC team to improve overall service to our customerAssess intel procedures specific to the GSOC; develop/update guidance documents and processes to eliminate gaps in intelligence gathering and reportingResponsible for deciphering, evaluating, and prioritizing information, intelligence, and events in a meaningful way that will aid the business in mitigating risk, exposure, and impacts globally to its people, assets, and brandPrepare analyses, assessments, verbal briefs or other products by applying expert judgment and specialized experience in interpreting information and making decisionsProduce high-quality threat assessments, security alerts, country risk assessments, multi-media presentations and other relevant security and awareness products for dissemination to relevant audiences across the organization as determined by the Intelligence Analyst under the guidelines provided by Senior ManagementTake initiative to develop new intelligence products and reporting methods to address emerging vulnerabilities and streamline internal processesExplore and integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning tools to enhance workflows and drive innovation within the departmentPeer review intelligence products for accuracy, clarity, and relevanceEnhance the existing intelligence collection plans and priorities; collect information from multiple sources, collate, validate, and document material, evaluate the reliability, accuracy, and credibility of sources, and interpret, analyse, and assess intelligenceMonitor global events—including civil unrest, natural hazards, geopolitics, and crime—using open-source intelligence platforms to identify risks to customer assetsMaintain awareness of the international climate and assess its potential impact on operationsConduct in-depth research and analysis to support global customer operations and threat mitigation effortsIdentify and report on emerging threats in operational regions, serving as the analytical focal point for intelligence effortsGenerate clear, professional intelligence products such as security briefs, threat assessments, and stakeholder reportsUtilize crisis communication processes to rapidly inform leadership of emerging risks and provide ongoing situational updatesDeliver timely, actionable insights during incidents that could impact customer operations or brand reputationProvide key insights to stakeholders with a focus on clarity, usability, and business impactSupport Corporate Security, GSOC, and Crisis Management operations as neededDeliver exceptional customer service and clear communication in both routine and high-pressure situationsQUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):
Must possess one of the following:Associate’s degree in Security Intelligence, Threat Analysis or related field of studyHigh School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of seven (7) years of civilian or military intelligence analysis experienceMinimum of five (5) years of civilian or military intelligence analysis experienceFusion Centre/law enforcement/customs/security intelligence/military/commercial intelligence backgroundInternational experience, cultural awareness, and sensitivityStrong research, analysis, and critical thinking skills with expertise in open-source intelligence, social media tools, and assessment techniques to identify and evaluate complex threatsExcellent written, oral, and presentation communication abilities, including report writing and briefing senior stakeholdersProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and other relevant tools for data management and reportingHighly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently or collaboratively across time zones and compressed timelinesInitiative and business acumen with minimal supervisionCommitted to strong professional ethics, discretion, and trust while challenging routine processes to improve standards and outcomesExpansive geopolitical awareness to enhance threat identification and situational understandingPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
Real-time Watch Center or Global Security Operation Center experienceAnalytic experience within the Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) community, and/or previous experience with the intelligence community, security consulting, or corporate securityTechnical expertise and experience in information gathering from open sources, government or vendor reporting, social media and/or public or private sector partnership networksInternational experience, cultural awareness, and sensitivityBENEFITS:
