Role Overview:
Looking for a strategic leader to head Dark Store Operations and Fleet Management. The role focuses on setting up and optimizing micro-fulfillment centers, enhancing last-mile delivery, and driving operational efficiency through technology and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:Dark Store Management:
Set up and scale dark stores across locations. Improve layouts, inventory accuracy, and fulfillment speed. Ensure SLA compliance.
Fleet & Delivery Operations:
Manage vehicle allocation, route planning, and partnerships with delivery providers. Use tech tools to optimize delivery time and cost.
Performance & Cost Control:
Track key KPIs like order fulfillment, delivery success rate, inventory accuracy. Drive cost efficiency via process improvements and automation.
Team & Stakeholder Leadership:
Lead cross-functional teams. Coordinate with supply chain, tech, finance, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure smooth operations.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Enforce safety, labor, and transport compliance. Minimize shrinkage, losses, and delivery failures through SOPs and risk frameworks.
8+ years in dark store ops, warehousing, or last-mile logistics
Strong understanding of Q-commerce, 3PLs, and rapid delivery models
Hands-on experience with WMS, TMS, and real-time tracking
Data-driven, process-focused, and team-oriented mindset
Proven ability to lead multi-location operations
