The Operational Effectiveness Manager develops, implements, and sustains the IQVIA Channel & Specialty Data Services (CSDS) Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring products and services meet customer, regulatory, and audit requirements.
Leads quality assurance initiativesManages SOC 1 Type 2 and SOC 2 Type 2 third-party auditsConducts and oversees internal audits to maintain ongoing audit readinessDrives continuous process improvement across CSDS functions by identifying risks, strengthening controls, and improving operational efficiencySupports and may lead responses to customer RFPs and IT security assessmentsEnsures IQVIA quality controls, standards, and governance practices are accurately represented to internal and external stakeholdersKey Responsibilities
Develops, oversees, and monitors implementation of quality standards, procedures, and controlsConducts and manages internal audits of QMS procedures, work instructions, and job aides with Process OwnersLeads external audits including SOC 1 Type 2, SOC 2 Type 2, and other compliance auditsCoordinates with external auditors on audit scope, timelines, and requirementsOversees internal audit readiness and communication across the organizationPartners with Process Owners to provide required documentation and audit evidenceDevelops and implements corrective action plans based on audit findings and investigationsMaintains current knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practicesRecommends and implements new or improved procedures and processesCollaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and identify root causesTracks corrective actions and process gaps to ensure timely follow-up and closureLeads initiatives to address and close quality gapsDrives continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen methodologiesParticipates in and may manage responses to customer RFPs and IT security assessmentsQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field, or equivalent experienceMinimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, preferably within a Quality Management System (QMS)Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skillsHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality controlProven ability to lead projects and drive initiatives to completionStrong written, verbal, and presentation skillsAbility to effectively engage stakeholders across all levels, including Executive ManagementAbility to quickly learn, apply, and expand subject matter expertiseExperience with process and data analysis methodologiesThis is a remote position open to applicants residing within the United States (preference for EST/CST locations).

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $78,700.00 - $196,800.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
