Main responsibilities: (List 5 - 8 major accountabilities below)

This is a senior management role to supervise the so called Order to Revenue operational processes, covering supply chain management, production, assembly & test, inspection, production planning and production engineering etc. 

Fundamental objective of the position is to achieve dramatic operational efficiency improvement across the whole operational processes.

The key roles and responsibilities of this position will include:
•    Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operations strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
•    Process Improvement: Streamline operations and business processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality dramatically.
•    Team Leadership: Manage and lead operations teams, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and fostering a positive work environment in accordance with Moog philosophy.
•    Budget Management: Oversee budgets, monitor capital expenditure & expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations.
•    Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, standards and company policies; manage risks associated with operational activities.
•    Resource Allocation: Optimize the use of resources, including personnel, space, equipment, and technology. 
•    Adoption of modern technologies: Lead paradigm shift to upscale way of work thoroughly by adopting the modern/latest technologies in the operations space, such as AI.
•    Monitoring: Establish performance metrics (KPIs), analyze operational data, and prepare reports to inform decision-making.

•    Vendor and Stakeholder Relations: Manage relationships with suppliers, partners, and other stakeholders to support operations.
•    Problem-Solving: Identify operational issues and develop effective solutions to address them.
•    Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as finance, marketing, and sales to ensure cohesive business operations.
•    Contribution to entity business operations & management: as a Japan executive team member, this position is expected to demonstrate dedicated contribution to support the entity management overall.

Qualifications:

Education/degree:
•    Bachelor degree or above in the engineering field. MBA as a strong addition.

Work Experiences
•    Management/senior leader role in the operations field for minimum 10 years or equivalent is a must.
•    Managing quantitative and qualitative objectives and proven track records of achieving such objectives.
•    Working in a multi-cultural environment, or working outside Japan is a preferred addition.
•    Professional experience in the heavy industry/automotive industry is a strong addition but not mandatory.
