Operations Coordinator
Job Title: Marine Operations Support CoordinatorJob Description The Marine Operations Support Coordinator plays a crucial role in assisting the Demand Planning department with fleet acquisition, registration, and insurance. The position also involves coordinating marina lease database management for both existing and new locations. This role demands a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can ensure compliance requirements are met and effectively collaborate with regional General Managers. Responsibilities + Support compliance activities such as boat registration and renewals, insurance enrollment, and local and state registration activities. + Ensure accurate and timely filing of forms related to fleet activities. + Track order status of new boat orders, including production and logistic dates. + Effectively communicate the status of boat registration and titles. + Assist with updates of information in the fleet management system (Fleetio) as needed. + Organize the lease repository and data for ongoing financial analysis purposes. + Manage the workflow process for existing, new, and acquired location leases, including collaboration with stakeholders such as legal, operations, finance, fleet, and territory directors. + Establish and maintain a comprehensive calendar to stay ahead of renewal requirements and timing. + Acquire signatures and provide signed copies to Lessor, Legal, and Accounts Payable. + Manage the Certificate of Insurance (COI) process for each location. Essential Skills + Administrative support experience. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. + Effective communication and organizational skills. + Strong attention to detail. + Ability to work unsupervised. + Familiarity with boats and boating is a plus. + Data entry skills. + Experience with Outlook and clerical tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications + College degree preferred or commensurate experience. + Ability to multi-task and organize large amounts of data. + Demonstrated interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve issues quickly and effectively. + Strong reading comprehension. + Results-oriented with the ability to work under minimal supervision. + Well-organized, self-motivated, assertive, and flexible. + Proficiency in PC-based software including Adobe Acrobat Pro, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Work Environment The work is based in a fun industry at the Freedom Boat Club location. The role offers flexibility with part-time hours, operating from 8 AM to 5 PM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, or 4 hours per day across 5 days per week. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Venice, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.66 - $19.31/hr.
